About Us
Commonwealth Stain is the first company to bring Texas-brand Wood Defender oil stains to the Richmond area and proudly uses Sherwin-Williams latex stains for well used decks and docks. Owner and Contractor Russel Wiles and his team bring over 100 years of experience to the customer.
Mr. Wiles is a volunteer firefighter with Powhatan Fire & Rescue as well as a professional sports announcer for NASCAR. Russell enjoys spending his time with his daughter, Reagan Elizabeth, and donating time and service to veterans, police and local firefighters throughout Richmond, VA. Commonwealth Stain is a subsidiary of R.E. Wiles Co., and its sister company James River Roofing.
